Lac Richard, summer spendour

Lac Richard is one of the most remote lakes in the park and the trail is not well marked on my map. On the way to the lake we encountered cobwebs on the trail, suggesting that it was not well travelled. On a previous hike to this lake I happened upon a young coyote or wolf that bounded off when it saw me. This trail also abounded with fungi. In this painting I tried to capture the serene beauty of a late summer day.
