Description
This painting of Pink Lake is one of several paintings that I describe as bichromatic. It is painted using two colours of paint (in this case Red Oxide and Pthalo Blue) plus white (Unbleached Titanium). I feel that this treatment helps to emphasize the reddish needles on the hillsides and it also emphasizes tones and textures.
