Description

I have typically shied away from painting buildings and people in natural scenes feeling that they spoiled the wilderness. In creating a painting series on Gatineau Park I have come to regard human structures and the human presence in the park as part of the landscape. The two pillars in the background seem to have been supports for a bridge that has since disappeared.
